Good afternoon Spring Creek!
 
We hope you were able to join us yesterday evening for the amazing production: Holidays in the Mountains. A winter concert organized by our own Ms. Palmer and sponsored by our PAC! I sadly was so caught up in the magic I didn't think to get any photos!

We had amazing helpers from the community to help us pull off this production. We would love to thank Lex Sancha from Sancha Events, for designing and providing materials for the gorgeous backdrop & working with our Lighting crew students to set the mood. Thanks to PAC for bringing in Papa Josh to work with the students for four weeks leading up to this production. Thanks to all the amazing teachers & EA's who have supported the students in practice and preparation. Thanks to the parents who came to help on two separate nights to set up and decorate. Thanks to our leadership students who led the younger students & helped with sewing and painting. Thanks to our behind-the-scenes Tech & Backstage Crews, to Ms. Leach for running the students down. Last, but not least, a huge thank you to Ms. Palmer for pulling it all together.
 
Bear Paws
Congratulations to Kai Copland, Stella, Jack & Charlotte for winning the elusive Bear Paw Draw this week! We had so many paws in the draw this week! Thanks again to our PAC who help support the Bear Paw prizes.  
Bear Paws are given out by teachers who notice students who are displaying our Spring Creek values of being: Kind, Inclusive, Safe, & Engaged. These are entered in jars for Grades K-3 and Grades 4-7. We draw one from each jar every Friday (sometimes more!). Congratulations to all students who were entered to win this week!
 
First Week Back
Hard to believe we are thinking about the first week back to school when we've barely left for the holidays, but here we are! The first week back is full of Field Trips for cross-country skiing in the Callaghan. If ever, your child wants to attend a field trip but cost is a barrier, please send an email to [email protected] and we will be sure to find a way to help! We are back in the office on January 6th, when kids are back to school. See you then!
