School Overview

Spring Creek Community School is located at the south end of the Resort Municipality of Whistler, BC, on the ancestral, unceded territories of the Lílwat, St’at’imc and Skwxwú7mesh Nations.

Spring Creek serves 275 students, grades K-7, in 12 multi-age divisions. We have an increasing intake of Kindergarten students and a growing community of families from around the world. We offer Late French Immersion in grades 5-6-7, and we share the school grounds and facilities with our sister school, École la Passerelle, home to approximately 75 francophone students.

We are home to 18 Teachers, 1 Principal, 7 Education Assistants, and 1 clerical assistant, as well as part-time professionals: a counsellor, school psychologist, speech-language pathologist, and itinerant support and inclusion professionals.

We celebrate our school culture as the “Spring Creek Bears,” with a focus to always do our best to:

How to contact Spring Creek

To report absences, please contact the office: [email protected].

For extended absences (like travel), please inform both the teacher and the office.

Bus schedules are available from the office upon request. Route information is also available on the district website (Bus Routes and Information).

PAC on Facebook: search “Spring Creek PAC.” This is a great way to stay informed and volunteer! You can also check out PAC Corner in our weekly newsletter, which can be found here.

Criminal Record Check form from the office will ensure you don’t have to pay to have this done. All volunteers for school field trips must have this completed and on file at the school. Parent volunteers are often more helpful in a class other than their child’s.

Nut Aware Classrooms We have 10 students in our school with nut allergies this year at Spring Please check in with your student's classroom teacher to see if you are able to send foods containing nuts to school.

Sign-In Process To enter the classroom wings of the school, parents are to sign in at the office and wear a guest badge.
